If you are looking for top things to do in Kauai, then we know exactly what to suggest. Add the fantastic Hanapepe Art Night event to your Hawaii itinerary.

Hanapepe, the biggest little town in Kauai is located just a few minutes drive from Waimea town and has a very unique feel to it. It’s small, graceful and very welcoming.

The authentic houses of Hanapepe have been used in several films, the Disney film “Lilo and Stitch” is one of them. The houses are now homes to many beautiful galleries and shops in the town.

Hanapepe Art Night Festival

To celebrate the local artists, every given Friday Hanapepe hosts the Hanapepe Art Night.

The festival is magical! On your arrival, expect the town to glitter in hundreds of fairy lights, hear soulful live music, see arts and eat delicious street food.

The Hanapepe Art Walk brings everyone together. The local food trucks sell tasty burritos, artists play music or sit outside their galleries enjoying the evening breeze. It’s one of the best Friday Night festivals in Hanapepe so inhale every single moment of this special night.

Walk the streets, enjoy the art, get a generously filled burrito and sit with the locals right on the street to listen to the barefoot musicians. There’s so much Aloha spirit in such a small space.

Hanapepe Art Night is a great way to spend a Friday night in Kauai. We had a blast and really recommend popping in to say hello.

If you are still unsure of whether to visit Hanapepe, could a Kauai’s Chocolate & Coffee Festival tempt you to make your way to the town? We thought so!

Also, have a look at Hanapepe’s official website for more information, there are so many things to do in this little town.
