December – it’s been a blast! So busy but filled with good wine, Port, gingerbread goodies, cinnamon, mulled stuff, fairy lights, and most importantly, lovely people – friends and family. This year I had my mum and brother over for the festive season, and it’s been so good to have them around. I wish we could spend more time together doing fun stuff like ice skating, drinking tea, and eating cake.
While it’s still appropriate, and while people are still wishing each other Happy New Year, I’d like to wish you all a happy and successful 2015, and share some precious moments from my festive season.
Lovely (and very expensive) ice rink at Somerset House.
Mulled wine and decorations in Covent Garden.
The famous Lego Reindeer.
Southbank Christmas Market.
Christmassy ambience at St. Christopher’s Place.
Some cool decorations at Carnaby Street.
Insanely busy Oxford Street.
Time for some fun – ice skating in Canary Wharf.
Beautiful Cambridge panorama from the Great St Mary’s church Tower.
Crossing the river in East London.
My homemade gingerbread house and Christmas trees, handmade white chocolate snowmen, and local brew.
Magical Christmas at Kew Gardens.
Toasted marshmallows. Yum.
Time for demolition…
